Our Team

Anuradha has spent more than 30 years working on issues of education, gender and environment.

In the last decade she has worked towards transforming schools as well as developing models of community centres that aim to Unlock the potential of every child, and for universal access to quality higher education. Prior to leading Astytva, Anuradha has worked with low cost schools as well as IB schools.

Between 1992 and 2012 she had worked with several grassroot development organisations working in diverse geographies (rural, urban and peri-urban) and on a variety of issues (Ecological Restoration, Collective action, gender, education, health etc)..

Anuradha has done her Masters in Rural Management from IRMA in 1992 and also has a Bachelor degree in Economics from Delhi University (LSR). She is also a qualified IB Library faculty.

Pankaj Ballabh comes with 3 decades of experience in the Social Impact and Sustainability sectors. He is currently working as an independent consultant based out of Pune, on Affirmative action and Inclusion, Strategy, and Organisation Development.

Pranjal's journey with Astytva began in June 2014 when he and other Teach For India Fellows started the center as an after-school learning space for their classroom students from the community of Bhosari, Pune.
Pranjal has a bachelors degree in commerce accounting and finance, marketing from Delhi university and a masters degree in Public Policy, Data Analytics and International Development from
University of Chicago.

Yogita didi as she is lovingly called is a role model for women in the Bhosari.The way she has managed to support her family and bring up her daughters and educate them provides a sterling example of how despite challenges a clear goal, hard work and perseverance can achieve lofty outcomes. Yogita has made deep and lasting inroads into the community at Bhosari_ they treat her as one of their own.
She has completed here Bachelor of Arts and has a Masters degree in Social Work.

Sneha is a seasoned technologist with over 14 years of experience in engineering and product management within corporate settings. Her passion lies in leveraging technology for social development, particularly advocating for equitable access to children's education.
Sneha has completed her BE in Information technology and has an Executive MBA degree from MIT university.

Smita is a passionate teacher of science who uses very creative methods to ignite children's interest in the subject.Her cheerful demeanor has made her very popular among students.

Kishan bhaiya's ringing voice and clear articulation has made him a favourite among children. Many children have lost their fear of the subject because of his teaching style and loving nature

Pranali is the one of youngest teachers in our center and a Punekar to the boot. She encourages children to develop a critical and active style of study rather than rote learning for the exams. She is a role model for our children who aspire to be like her some day

Akshada aka Surekha didi teaches children chemistry; a subject that many find difficult to comprehend. Seeing the love their teacher has for the subject, especially nomenclature many get motivated to explore the subject. A small diminutive figure hides a large heart- full of love for children.

Jugnu is soft spoken teacher prone to break out into giggles at the antics of the younger children. A passionate math teacher she makes sure that every child in her class keeps up and does not hesitate to spend extra time with them when needed.
