  • What is the cause/issue your NGO works on?
    Astytva started as an after school program for the underprivileged children of Bhosari goan. in Pune. Our community center runs programs for Language enrichment, Critical thinking, STEM to help children academically, socially and emotionally.
  • Who are the beneficiaries of your work?
    It's the children, women and communities of Bhosari Gaon in Pune Maharashtra.
  • What are your current projects and initiatives?
    Most of our interventions are towards children until the 12th grade and women of the community. After 12th grade we help children to get into universities like APU, Krea by counselling them or help them adopt vocational jobs like ITI also helping them with domicile documents etc.

  • Do you accept in-kind donations (clothes, food, books etc.)?
    Yes, we accept in kind donations at our center. You can contact us here. We accept children's books for our library. We are looking for donations for Fiction and books in Marathi and Hindi. https://www.astytva.org/contact-us
  • Is my donation tax-deductible?
    All contributions made to Astytva Children's Center Foundation are eligible for tax deductions under 80G of IT act.
  • How do you use the funds you raise?
    We use the funds to help run interventions like the STEM program, critical thinking program and also for educational resources like books and material. We also use the funds to bring in qualified teachers from the community to help tutor children.
  • Is there anything else I can do to help besides donating?
    Yes, we welcome you to come spend time with the children, read stories, help them with art activities and guide the children in alignment to the interventions we run. A lot of our didis and bhaiyas help with career guidance, interview preparations for the older children as well!
  • Is your NGO registered?
    Yes, Astytva Children's Centre Foundation is registered as a Section 8 Company.
